Peace Yoga Love prioritises making yoga accessible to absolutely everyone; especially the most vulnerable in our community. Min’s teaching is friendly to beginners; people managing injury as well as experienced students. Peace Yoga Love offers friendly public yoga classes on on Sydney's Northern Beaches - with a year round schedule. Min hosts local one day and longer regional retreats focusing on self care and healing. Min is also available to teach corporate and private classes. There is no expectation of skill level, yoga clothes, body shape, age, fitness level or any other judgement. Regular classes are all drop in, there are no bookings, no terms and no catches. We have old people, young people, teenagers, inflexible people and bendy people, beginners and everyone in between in our classes - and that is just the way we like it. Please come and join us. Min is an experienced teacher with extensive training who works with all ages from under two to over eighty, and clients include Bear Cottage, Links to Learning, Ronald McDonald House, Karma Kids, Fitness First, Yoga by The Sea as well as teaching relaxation and chronic pain / anxiety coping skills classes two days a week for a social organisation supporting people who have experienced injury and trauma in their workplace. Min has trained in yoga based addiction recovery support and offers heavily discounted classes for pension card holders.

I am currently arranging a long day yoga, meditation, flowers and wellness retreat in Mona Vale in conjunction with Monique of Peony Perspective for 13 January. Expect moving and evening yoga, swimming, lunch, bushwalking, learning floral skills, and experiencing the powerful lesson of creating, gifting and releasing. Half Day options available if space permits.


Min is hosting a long weekend retreat in magical Byron Bay from 15-18 March 2019. The retreat will be held at Byron Yoga Centre’s Ashram on Skinners Shoot Road, walking distance to town, with our own yoga shala space and a sparkling pool and organic veggie garden and will include lots of yoga with Min, two guest teacher classes, a visit to the Crystal Castle, a light house morning walk and an evening of Kirtan - I would love you to join me.

Most importantly the retreat will be an opportunity for you to build community and dip deeply into self care of your mind, body and soul from a yoga based perspective in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

The cost to attend the retreat ranges from $770-$1220 dependant on room choice.

Price includes twice daily yoga, three nights accommodation, three delicious vegetarian meals a day, an evening of kirtan (a musical experience) and our hinterland Crystal Castle adventure. There is the opportunity to pre book a massage or wellness treatment in our free time.

Cost does not include travel to Byron Bay, massage or wellness treatments.

To reserve your place please pay your deposit on the book classes page here - and email Min with your preferred room configuration. If you are unable to attend I will do my best to fill your place so that your deposit can be released, which will be easier if there is time prior to travel. 

There is a sample day by day itinerary below. Some timing changes may take place as bookings are finalised. Whilst the food will be vegetarian and you could treat the time as a “detox” from meat, bacon, alcohol and coffee, you are also fine to go into town and find those things if you wish, without judgement. The yoga classes will be beginner friendly.


Day 1: Friday 15th

8:00am - 2.45pm - Arrive anytime and settle in to your accommodation

12:30pm - Lunch (optional)

3:00pm - Welcome Circle and Meditation

4:30pm - Restorative / Yin Yoga Class with Min

6:00pm - Dinner

7:00pm - Guided Meditation / Yoga Nidra with Min 

Day 2: Saturday 16th

6:45am - Lighthouse Walk

8:00am - Breakfast

9:00am – Talk on Yoga Philosophy

10:00am - Fresh Juice Break

10:30am - Yoga Class with Min

12:00pm - Relax

12:30pm - Lunch

1:30pm – Relax by pool or visit town / beach  or pre book a massage / treatment

4:30pm – Women’s Health Yoga or Inversions class with guest teacher 

6:00pm - Dinner

7:00pm – Evening of Kirtan 

Day 3: Sun 17th

6:45am – morning meditation and yoga class with Min 

8:00am - Breakfast

9.00am – Visit to Crystal Castle in Byron’s hinterland 

12:30pm - Lunch

1:30pm – Beach / pool / town / treatment / massage

4.30pm - Restorative Yoga

6.00pm - Dinner

7.30pm - Yoga Philosophy talk and Yoga Nidra

Day 4: Monday 18th

6:45am – early morning beach visit ( optional) 

8:00am - Breakfast

10:30pm – Yoga class Learning more about Bandhas ( energy locks ) with Michael 

12:00pm – Closing Circle 

12:30pm - Lunch

2.00pm - Yoga class with Min 

3:00pm - Departure
